For the treatment & prevention of the recurrence of gastric ulcers in adult horses

Active ingredient: Omeprazole 250mg/g

Pack size: 1 box contains 10 pouches, each pouch - 50 x 2g sachets.

Indications for use: Suppression of hydrochloric acid production is the cornerstone of treating and preventing the recurrence of both ESGD(Equine Squamous Gastric Disease) and EGGD (Equine Glandular Gastric Disease) Orally-administered omeprazole, a commonly used drug of choice, acts to suppress acid production and facilitates ulcer healing.

Dosage:

• Treatment Dose: Give one 2g sachet per 250kg bodyweight once daily for 2 weeks.
• Preventative/Maintenance Dose: Give one 2g sachet per 500kg once daily while horse remains in training, as directed by a veterinarian.
  Give on an empty stomach and only with a very small amount (20g) of dry feed - DO NOT WET food as moisture
  affects the granules.

Storage: Store below 25°C (air conditioning).
